FAB FEB

Here's a short list of my past days activities so far:

February 3 = Tried to attend a Job Fair for the first time @ Mandaluyong Gymnasium. Good thing I'm an early bird & arrived @ 8 am where job hunters were like overflowing. Days before that, I was tied up with thought of making moves like trying my luck for opportunities of finding a job or maybe at least an agency that I'm perfectly qualified. I actually applied as a Hemodialysis Nurse in KSA. Sounds scary but I'm prepared for any challenges considering whatever negative connotations it has. But until now, I haven't received any call .

February 4 = POEA day. Since I don't have idea on the process or whatsoever, I just dropped by in POEA, got the list of recruitment agencies, and read Job hiring posted there. Then I decided to go and try my luck in an agency once called me . It was located near Mendiola. After a few minutes of locating the place where it's situated, I finally found it. Sad to say, I'm not qualified . Aside from the fact that I don't have 2 years experience, they required 22 years of age! Gosh, I'm a year younger. Contradicting to the information tackled to me by the one who called me weeks ago and convinced me to apply.. she actually told me that they don't required experienced nurses. . how idiot..grr

February 12 = A day when James & I chatted c/o ym . We basically bursted our rants about being a bum, jobless, and anything out of boredom. He actually telling stories on his application as a call center agent. He sounds desperate as I am. So we planned to apply in Makati, yes as a CSR. For me, it's not really serious maybe just for fun and I just want something to do!! I'm so overbored!! Aside from that, I went in St. Jude, have my nail polish done, and printed my edited resume.

February 13 = Job Hunting Day. Whew, it was fun although I didn't make it due to nervousness..! haha. I keep on laughing about it everytime I reminisce. Well, i just thought that I'm maybe a lucky charm for james 'coz after applying to few companies, he finally made it! He was hired as a CSR, actually it was only three of them passed or rather hired and he actually belongs to the condsiderated ones. I'm happy for him . Pity me but I have no regrets coz it's not really what my heart's desire. We both had our lunch @ Jollibee and accidentally met Raf and Tina, our batchmates. There we had our chitchats.

February 14 = Valentines Day with Stephanie Angel. She's my "kinakapatid" whom I babysat yesterday during her Field Trip in Cavite. Actually I'm her tutor after class. The day was fun including the adorable kids, the place called camp trexo [whoa! I'm not sure of the name], the games for the kids, and the must try stunts for oldies / parents/ guardians. At last, I tried rappelling !!!! I'm so amazed! It was breath taking! ahaha! I'm sorry guys, but it's my first time. It's like I'm flying in the wind, and I feel FREE ! Never felt this good. So sad coz I don't have any snapshot ! Going back, I have to say that the only distressing part there was the traveling hours. I think we spent much more time traveling than the fun games the children went through. Because it's a Valentines Day , no wonder how bumper the traffic was. Especially the romantic place of tagaytay where many lovebirds tend to date. Approximately, we spent 3 hours in traffic before we finally passed through tagaytay. And the most hilarious thing happened was that when I realized that I got my period! Grr! It was so stressful!! Good thing there's no super leak! Excuse me for that additional info that's so gross !! haha.LOL

GOODBYE JANUARY

What's up JANUARY??

January is 1st month of the year obviously..
So, what has been the happenings that this month offered me?
Well i guess, it's not so over the edge and too quite a thing to be proud of ,yet, unforgettable.

Here's the list so far:
  • Jan. 1 = New year's Day!! -celebrated in Laguna together w/ my brother, cousin and auntie. I already posted an entry regarding my New Year's celebration.
  • Jan. 8 = Start of my tutorial session with my two "kinakapatid", one grade 1 and one grade 2.
  • Jan. 13 = Went to Baclaran to meet up with Mommy Yolly. We bought few lightening pills in a Chinese store near the Baclaran church. All of which are supposed to be on mommy's baggage going to L.A. After our visit in Baclaran Church, we had our separate ways. I went to Quiapo to buy stuffs including a Mp4 and lots of pirated dvd's! LOL. I finally watched them all. I've watched one at a time... Bedtime stories, The curious case of Benjamin Button and the season 2 of Gossip Girl. Really, I can't get over with the ending of the season2 of Gossip Girl... So "kakabitin"!!! With regards to the story of Benjamin Button, I'm quite amaze with the story considering the huge success of the film and overwhelming awards. Whoa... i think i need to drop another entry pertaining to those movies mentioned 'coz i'm overloved it!
  • Jan. 14 = Mommy Yolly's flight going to L.A. California.
  • Jan. 17 = Kuya Warren's flight going to Qatar
  • Jan. 19 = Claimed my IVT Training ID in Las PiƱas City Medical Center @ 12 noon. I met a colleague named Karima who's a former student of Centro Escholar University. We had chitchats although we just knew each other right there in Hospital just in front of the Operating Room while waiting for our Ansap ID. And then, we decided to ride the bus together on the way home. I dropped by in Baclaran Church and left her in the bus going to Lawton. I went to Hortaleza and bought a yellow nail paint.
  • Jan. 24 = Arrival of Papa Roy, Tita Mylene, Tita Amy, Tito Alex & Kuya Marvin from Ormoc City, Leyte. They went here in Manila, actually in Pangasinan after, for Kuya Marvin's Wedding. Papa also with them since Tito Alex invited him to come.
  • Jan. 26 = Their flight @ 12 noon. They went back home to Cebu and from there, they rode Supercat going to Ormoc.
  • Jan. 29 = Printed the invitation cards for Neil's Bday. After a oh so long adventure to find an envelope, I dropped by in St. Jude Church. It's been a long time since I visited St. Jude. I felt really guilty and at the same time, i'm so desperate..that's why.
I actually made this. Blurred but it was dated 2008! LOL.
  • Jan. 31 = Neil's Birthday Bash. Mom and I, took care of everything. From the B'day Invitation up to the Catering and so on...
January is finally over...
So to let's turn it on to the next page..
Let's see what's gonna happen next..
I somewhat hope for the best this coming week.
I'm so tired of doing nothing so why not try to go out and try out things that maybe desirable, hence, better or for the best. I may sounds so blurred but I'll let you catch up things about me later. So watch out for my next blog entry.. gotta sleep for now. It's already 12:21am.

Just watched POOHKYAW!! Made me super laugh indeed. Never laugh this hard so far this year. ahaha:)) They're so entertaining!! So Hilarious and absolutely FUNNY!

NEW YEAR'S EVE

>late post<
The year has come to it's end, perhaps the memories captured every single thoughts that i have for this year. Thoughts that somewhat made me a better person and at the same time, challenged me. The main point of the word New Year is striving to have a better life and do things in accordance to what's good like to leave or to forget all the failures and mistakes from the past.

My family, again, celebrated the new year in Laguna. My mom and Dad were both absent because they have to work in the hospital where we know that holidays is not an excuse to leave their duty. We served good foods but not too extravagant. Only five of us were together at the new year's eve. A bit lonely but the fun must still continue. We found ways to make our night seems to be a great and enjoy one! We had our pictorial and fireworks as well. Everything came as we all wanted it to be. The environment was so loud and i can't even here the sounds from the television [yep. i'm still watching my daily habit]. Party sounds were all over the place. Sad to say but we never had the chance to play games or whatever because of the fact that there just few of us in the house. Some of my cousins are afar and some relatives are actually out of the country.

PINK SISTERS & CALERUEGA

December 28, 2008

PINK SISTERS

ALJON/GERALYN/MOMMY YOLLY/KUYA RAYMUND

ALJON & GERALYN

RAYMUND

The month of December was really a big blast coz i got to travel to different places. Two of which are in Tagaytay and Caleruega Nasugbu, Batangas. Most of you maybe familiar of the pink sisters in Tagaytay. It's been a place for prayers considering there's indeed, pink sisters praying 24/7 [i think]. You can actually write your wishes, prayers, hopes, etc. in a paper provided there and place it in an envelope then drop it in a designated dropbox or whatever you call it. I've been there twice and my last visit there was when i was in 2nd year college during my retreat. Nearby is the retreat house called Angel's Hills where we had our retreat. Together with mommy yolly, aljon, kuya raymund and other fellowmen whose close friends of mommy yolly, we had our sunday mass in the Pink sister church [i'm not sure of the name of the church]. Well, Tagaytay is a place where the weather is typical cold.

eat. eat. eat.

whatever!!

After our short stay in Pink sisters, we went straight to jollibee to have our breakfast.

We, the passengers, never realized that we're actually going to Caleruega, Nasugbu , Batangas. Only the owner of the car and his wife planned to take us for a tour in that lovely place. We actually thought that we're going to picnic grove for our lunch but you know it's all worth it! It was my first time to visit Caleruega. The infrastructures was amazing and the place reminds me of the spanish era. I'm a nature lover that's why i've appreciate the beauty of the plants surrounding the retreat houses. It's quite obvious that most of the plants were taken good care with maintenance. Aside from that, there's also fish ponds, mountains, narrow bridge, and even a huge bon fire. The place looks clean and well-maintained. Upon arriving, we noticed that there's a wedding ceremony and upon departure, there's also a wedding ceremony and we even saw the bride with gorgeous wedding gown. Apart from roaming around that wondertful place, pictorial session can't be eliminated or taken aside. Sad but true, the battery of the cam was deteriorated! wahaha..what i mean is that the cam was already turned it's white flag! But i guess there's enough photos that we've took the moments cherished was enough for me.

CALERUEGA

To end up this blog i would like to recommend the mushroomburger in tagaytay.
For me, it's delicious and most especially, it's healthy!! grab one!!

CHRISTMAS 2008

>Late post<
Merry Christmas!! haha..it's a late post again due to some reasons. In laguna, me and my brother spent our holiday season together with kuya raymund, mommy yolly, and ate anabel. Mama, Papa and Aljon also went there few hours before the Christmas eve. I wanted to have as much happiness and just enjoy X'mas though some of our relatives can't be able to celebrate with us. Hence, everything went out oh so good. As we all know, our Country or should i say the whole world are experiencing financial crisis. Why did i inserted this thought? Well, this was the first xmas that i haven't gave any gift to my parents, relatives and friends. There's doubt about that considering i don't have a job and my parents don't give me allowance or anything for that matter but i don't blame them, instead, i indeed understand fully our condition. Sometimes i demand something from them but it's not a serious case coz i know deep inside that i'm already capable of earning money by myself but i'm still waiting for my luck. Going back to the topic w/c is Christmas, we celebrated the mass, had our Noche Buena and just feeling and enduring the yuletide season. I'm glad that everyone of us is in good health and good life status. I really thank God of all the blessings he bestowed upon my family. We all aware that some families can't celebrate x'mas together, can't eat hams or even lechon, can't open gifts, can't see the happiness in their faces, can't experience the warm love of each other.... these were some reasons..maybe some familes are not together this holidays and some of them are financially unstable. It's a good reason for us to be thankful enough and consider this unfortunate people as our driving force to continue and appreciate life. We must not forget that this is the season of giving / sharing. Most of the time i see myself sharing my time, effort, and blessings to other but let's face reality as of this moment. I know i'm still not capable of doing all of those but someday i know i could.
