GERALYN'S 21ST BIRTHDAY
Last December 21, 2008.. 'd DAY my bDAy!!
>>Late post<< I had this wishful thinking of having a blast for my coming birthday but then again, i don't want to expect anything really dramatic. The scope of my plan was to invite all of my friends who are close to me to just have a little celebration as well as a reunion. But i know, that's impossible considering the date w/c near the holiday season or actually the holiday season itself. Even before, i expected that there will be a celebration coz mama told me that and she even added or included my being so called "Registered Nurse" as one of the reason of doing so. Actually, we haven't celebrated such [passing the licensure exam for nurses] so mom planned to celebrate it with my birthday at the same time.
As my birthday slowly arrives, there was a change in plan. My parents decided not celebrate coz you know "crisis"! Fortunately, 2 days before the said day, they told me to invite friends for my birthday! yehey!! So stupid me, i invited my friends one day before my birthday.. So, there's a 50:50 chance of them attending. Some of them were in the province. Some didn't reply in my text. Some of them, i lost their contacts. Some responded and i'm really glad they did!
We've come to the day we've been all waiting for, my birthday! hahaha...so big deal! Anyways, i actually can't believe that some of them went all the way from faraway land of las pinas just to attend my party. Joyce aren't sure at first of attending my bday coz of health matters. Resh told me that she'll not attend if there's no other girlfriends gonna attend. Karen wants to go but she have an appointment. Boi Elaine can't attend also coz she's in the province. I'm really glad that inspite of Joyce' sickness, she was able to attend together with jolly JJ [her bf]. James also attended. I really appreciated james for his loyalty. In just a text, without any hesitation, he said YES! Rachel is a good friend who's been there eversince. So no doubt, she's for sure going to attend. At about 12 noon, i fetch joyce, jj, james and resh in MRT shaw station. Joyce and JJ were the first to arrive. then there goes james and resh after one hour of waiting. We went straight to our house, ate lunch and do the videoke thingy. I never expected that the day would as fun as hell!!! It's so damn the best birthday so far as i know. JJ was so funny even more if he started to do his thing with the mic of magic sing. It felt like there's a lot of visitors although there's just four of them. I laughed big time everytime he shouted "Araneta, put your hands in the air!!", "Ikaw, ikaw ang bida!!!", "ikaw ang bigaten!!"... you probably will laugh upon hearing those funny stuffs! actually both of them, JJ and James, were a tandem or wacky duo! they brought up a spice that afternoon! On the other hand, I, Joyce and Resh were just having chitchats as what we normally do back then. To add up different ingredient for the day, we actually had our pictorial session!! [what's new??!] It's almost dark outside when rachel arrived at our house. Before we had our goodbyes, we again had our pictorial at the rooftop. So wacky and full of effort.

That has been a great day for me and based from their feedback, they enjoyed And love the foods. So i can't wish for anything! I'm so satisfied and happy! I will never forget this as long as i live. Once in a lifetime as they say coz i turned 21 last december 21. I'm so thankful for everything, my family, friends and my status in life. yes, i'm not yet fully professional coz i'm unemployed but having a tight family and friends...what more can i ask for. Thanks mama and papa!!!! I'll prove myself this 2009. Watch out!

i believe that its really different when you celebrate ur bday with ur closest friends..lot of fun, laughters and wackiness! haha
