TRIBUTE FOR THE KING

How do I begin to start defining the essence of a true legend? Far from being a huge star across the globe, he shown an exceptional devotion to the world and every single creature it contains. His life was an inspiration to us even he faced inflicting trials and controversies throughout his life. It’s quite ironic how people tend to realize his worth as a human being just after his death. Many would acknowledge his humanly contribution to the world, all his divinely acts, generosity and that entire good things etcetera. As I noticed, this big bang that came too soon which was the death of the king, took all of us into shocked. Well, we cannot blame ourselves considering the mere fact that MJ brought difference into each one of us or merely the entire nation since he was just a little kid. As many times as I can possibly say, I’ll keep on mentioning how he change my life and your life and the great things he did if ever you don’t yet realized. Actually, I realized his importance just so after his death. I’m basically one of THEM.

As I stare at the cloudy sky at exactly 3:45 in the afternoon, I hardly recall back his songs that captured my heart and I can’t help but to be lame and sad. Funny thing to say but I bought a collection of his songs in Quiapo last week! Can you imagine the waves around the crowded place were all surrounded by the voice of MJ. I was like feeling his presence and the love from his fans, beginning to be his fans, and soon to be his fans. Most of the people roaming around and went to that place were like searching and intending to buy Michael’s dvds and cds from albums and concerts which were in fact all over the street and side walks. It’s amazing to think of this sudden whim took us and still taking us by storm or maybe typhoon. Even in daily news, you can see him and the people’s heartaches for his death.

All of sudden, people appreciate MJ’s music and the substantial message it contains as what Michael wanted people to sort out and make it possible in reality. As for his song lyrics, he placed his whole heart on it trying to make a change in the world we’re living. He’s a symbol of a true hero and peacemaker who translated his thoughts through his songs. Once you heard his soothing voice and learning the message of his songs, you’ll by then understand his deep compassion not only to his art which is music but also to the people who needed much love and care. A real man can grasp the reality of imperfection in life and still wanted to make an effort of instead doing something in order to at least share his blessings to others and make a difference.

By just looking at him changing to many different looks from the outside, all he wanted was to make a CHANGE. I’m not yet pertaining on how he changed his looks every now and then. Undefined mystery may be associated with MJ but not exactly his drive to a new world with less or if ever completely erased evilness. “Heal the World” and “Man in the Mirror” were two merely passage for him to let people hear its meaning; hence, apply it in the real world. A single human being should be capable of initiating change with his own shortcomings and inadequacy. Like other people would say that we should begin change to ourselves first so as we can be able to achieve our aim to better world. Change starts with “I” and that’s what he pertained in his lyrics in “Man in the Mirror”. So if change happened to a better “YOU”, you can start to spread the goodness in you to others. It’s just like a chain reaction. And if that happened, our world can be pull off to a better place to live reconsidering the souls dying from balderdash wars against each nation, and other baloneys that killing life. We can heal the world in our own simple ways. If MJ believed that it can happen in reality, who are we not to believe. Everything is possible even the impossible if we do believe. That thought most likely gave me the inspiration and drive to make a change to our world even though I’m just a simple being living anonymous to most people. That, I believed, is not a hindrance for me not to make a move, thus, it paves way for me to boost my confidence and try as far as I can.

Before I go further and way much off the topic, I want to let others know how MJ changed the world and how his influence made people understand the way of life. I’m definitely not patronizing him or whatever you called it, actually, I’m being honest. Behind those cosmetic surgeries and all that cases sue against him, nothing compares the essence he brought up to our minds and soul. No matter how grave people judge him, only his family, closest friends and avid supporters know the real Michael.

R.I.P.

I love how you described him in your entry and how much love you have for him as an artist. He was indeed great and it will always be a great loss. I hope that in heaven he can live up to his greatness:)

Nashock lang ako sa sinabi mong na he did some "divinely" acts. He was far from divine but he was good. hehee. Well I would have always like to think that he is really good based from his interviews. I'm one of those who learned how to appreciate him after he died. Would the world be this intent in his music if he didn't die? Maybe, maybe not since his supposed comeback at European concerts did sell out so it really is a shame... I think it takes death for people to really realize the worth of a person. This is saddening..

Wish I'd have been a fan at 6 years old. Maybe I could have watched his concert when he came here at 1996. Sighs... howell... i'll just settle watching youtube videos and interviews of MJ. MJ you're a real good person because your music is always good. I mean everything is just so positive right? Heal the World, we are the world, will you be there, etc. Gosh... thank the Lord for Michael Jackson! :P

It really is ironic that people only remember him because of his death. I'm not really a fan but I agree that he should be commemorated.
